Punjabi Youth Who Excelled in UPSC Exams Honored at the Legislative Assembly
\n-Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan Appeals to New Administrative Officers to Uphold Honesty and Serve the People\u2026
\nKotkapura\/ Chandigarh (Alexander D’Souza): Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker, S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, today honored talented students from Punjab who achieved remarkable success in the UPSC examinations during a ceremony held at the Assembly Complex. On this occasion, Speaker Sandhwan lauded the students’ hard work and determination, stating that by bringing glory to the state at the national level, these young individuals have established themselves as sources of inspiration for the new generation.
\nHonored Personalities:
\nThe following candidates, who hoisted the flag of success in the UPSC examinations, were honored:
\nAman Alune, Rasneet Kaur (Patiala), Manpreet Kaur (Mansa), Jayant Garg,
\nKritika Chaudhary (Balachaur),
\nSimrandeep Kaur (Patiala), and Akriti Singla (Mansa).
\n\u2018The Pen and the Chair Must Be Used for the Welfare of the People\u2019:
\nWhile congratulating the students and their parents, S. Sandhwan remarked that discipline and unwavering determination are essential for achieving success in such rigorous examinations. He appealed to the newly selected officers to always prioritize truth and justice as they embark upon their careers in the administrative services. The power of the ‘pen and the chair’ holds true significance only when it is utilized for the welfare of the marginalized sections of society and for bringing about positive change.

\nExpressing particular pride in the achievements of Punjab\u2019s daughters, the Speaker stated that students hailing from regions such as Patiala, Mansa, and Balachaur have proven that with strong determination, no goal remains out of reach. He reiterated that the Punjab government would always encourage the youth to excel in the fields of education and employment.
